The City of Industry operates on a fiscal year basis, which begins July 1st and ends on June 30th of every fiscal year. In accordance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, better known as "GAAP", the Finance Department oversees and prepares its annual financial statements at the end of every fiscal year for the City of Industry, Civic Recreational-Industrial Authority ("CRIA"), Industry Public Facilities Authority ("IPFA") and Successor Agency to the Industry Urban Development Agency ("SA"). The City's annual financial statements are prepared and performed by an independent, third-party auditor.
