On July 13, 1961, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 178 thereby authorizing the creation of the Planning Commission.  The Commission reviews proposed developments that may have an impact on the community’s growth and environment, ensures that the proposed developments will adhere to the City’s technical environmental and esthetic standards, and holds public hearings to review plans and ensure they comply with the zoning regulations and general plan of development.

      Sandra Divers, Commissioner

The Planning Commission meetings are held at 11:30 a.m., on the Tuesday preceding the second Thursday of each month.
